This Privacy Policy explains what information is involved when you use SPCX Tools (the "site"), and the choices you have. The short version: the files and text you use with our tools stay on your device.
Files and text you process
Our tools run inside your web browser. When you select a file or enter text, it is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. We cannot see, store or recover your files. When you close the page, the data is released from your browser's memory.
Tools that contact our server
A small number of tools need data that a browser cannot obtain by itself. These tools are clearly marked on their pages:
- IP address tools show the public IP address and approximate location that your connection already reveals to any website you visit.
- DNS and domain tools send the domain name you enter to our server, which looks it up using public services (such as Cloudflare's public DNS resolver or RDAP registries) and returns the result.
- Currency tools request current exchange rates from a public source through our server.
We do not log or store the contents of these requests beyond the short-lived technical caching needed to answer them quickly.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Analytics
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal data.
Advertising and cookies
The site is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance.

- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ad Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.
- If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent through a certified consent management platform before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy link shown by that consent message.
Advertising scripts never receive the files or text you process with our tools.
Local storage
We store a few preferences in your browser's local storage, such as your chosen colour theme and language. These never leave your device and you can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its processing. Because we do not collect personal data through the tools themselves, most requests will concern advertising cookies, which you can control as described above.
